Greene County magistrate court, week ending Oct. 31

In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered Oct. 27 against Colby Baugh of Ames on a charge of harassment-third degree. He was fined $100 with a $35 surcharge. Court costs were $60.

A case was initiated against Tyler Anthony Kokenge of Grand Junction of a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending Oct. 31 as follows: Joy Rebecca Vonnahme and Jason L. Schagt, both of Carroll, dark window/windshield, $50; Jaxson Eugene Brady-Hobart of Jefferson and Jamie Jo Francis Theulen of Scranton, both careless driving, $35; *Michael David Husar of Grand Junction, operating non-registered vehicle, $50; *Gerald James Wilsey of Jefferson, improper use of auxiliary driving lights, $30; and Robert Denton Patrick of Bayard, operation without registration, $50.

Also, speed, $80 (11-15 mph over limit): *Osuman Anwar Sadat of Silver Springs, MD, *Gerarado Banda of Denison, and *Adonijah Benjamin Redlin of Maynard.

Speed, $40 (6-10 over): Crystal Conroy of Scranton, *Rhonda Kay Nelson and Andrew Levi Rumley, both of Jefferson, and *Michale Justin Krebs and *Teresa Ann Richardson, both of Manson.

Speed, $20 (1-5 over): Cynthia Katherine Grady of LeMars, Ryan Jeremy Ernst of Schleswig, and Chad Jeremy Loreth of Milford.

Failure to wear/maintain safety belts, $50: Thomas Allen Tubbs of Bigelow, MO.

Fish and game violations: Andrew L. Brown of Des Moines, restriction on game – out of season, $100.

Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Michael David Teeples of Jefferson, possession of alcohol under age, $200; Jacob Thomas Monthei of Jefferson, possession of tobacco under age, third offense, $250 (no surcharge, no court costs); Jacob Allen Sands of Jefferson, speed, $90; Luray Julin Dawson of Bagley, speed, $40; and Denise Specht of Jefferson, no valid driver’s license, paid $20 of fine, judgment entered for remaining $180 fine, $70 surcharge and court costs.

The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.

Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.

*An additional $5 county surcharge was added.
